Adeline Kratochvil-Selander

née Lutgen, Grandma “K” 100 years old of Roseville A Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother passed away at home peacefully on November 5, 2018.  She was born June 19, 1918 in Mayhew Lake, MN.  Preceded in death by husbands, Clifford Selander and Robert Kratochvil; son Duane “Dewey” Selander; granddaughter, Christina Kern; parents, Rose and John Lutgen; brothers, Jerome and Raymond Lutgen. She is survived by her children, Beverly Jane Selander, Marlene (Jack) Brodt, Robert (Sue) Selander, Eileen (Bill) Kern; daughter-in-law, Mary Selander; sisters-in-law, Alice Lutgen and Barb Kratochvil; 10 grandchildren, Vic (Jen) Brodt, Kerry(Pat) Wethington, Winny (Justin) Brown, Chelsey (Craig) Rosenthal, Tony (Christine) Brodt, Kevin (Kris) Selander, Craig (Angie) Selander, Katie (Eric) Jaeger, Bobby Kern; 18 great grandchildren, Hanna (Ethan) Prow Brodt, Kyle Brodt, Madeline, Audrey, Jacqueline, and Adeline Wethington, Weston and Branson Brown, Haley and Jake Rosenthal, Jonathan, Emma, and Maria Brodt, Sammy, Lucie, and Lilly Selander, Jordyn and Cody Selander; and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Allina Health Services, Hospice Nurses,  Janilyn M. Richardson, MD for our mother’s care over the years. The neighbors, Michelle, John and Debbie, and Trisha from St. Rose of Lima for all of their kindness.  Adeline was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and role model. Her thoughtfulness is an example her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren hope to follow.  Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, November 13 at ST. ROSE OF LIMA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2048 N. Hamline Avenue, Roseville, with a visitation beginning at 10 AM at church.  Interment Roselawn Cemetery.  Memorials preferred to Allina Hospice.
