Andrew Peter Schippel

Gained wings on April 22nd, 2021 at the age of 41. Preceded in death by mother, Amelia Ann Schippel (nee Envey); stepmother, Mary Teresa Schippel; grandmother, Delores Belle Ruth; and cousin, Shelly Ann Ruth. Survived by wife of 26 years, Laura Marie (nee Anderson); children, Andrew Peter III (Mariah), Spencer Reid (Kylie), Caleb Alexander, and Princess Ella Marie; father, Andrew Peter Sr.; brothers, Richard Pederson, Mark Dillree, Daniel (Ashley) Walker, Phillip (Rose) Schippel and Benjamin Schippel; father- and mother-in-law, Don and Linda Anderson; best friend of 40 years, Brian Roettger; and an infinite amount of cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends around the world.  Andy will be fondly remembered by the Centennial class of 1998 and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Medical School class of 2008, as well as class of 2011 Maricopa County (Phoenix, AZ) Emergency Medicine Residency, Falcon Heights Fire Department, Doctors Without Borders, and many hospitals in Minnesota. Andy is known for cuddling Princess Ella, watching movies, reading books, teaching, working on engines and toys, playing board games, travelling, trying new things and trying everything, fishing, gambling, family time, and motorcycle rides. He truly knew it all and did it all. Visitation will be Thursday, April 29 from 1-8 PM at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-LINO LAKES, 7050 Lake Dr (Co Hwy 23). Please come, share stories and celebrate the amazing high-speed life of Andy.  Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
