Anna Chamberlain (Mosio)(nee Eoloff)

October 14, 1927 — January 4, 2022

Anna was born October 14, 1927 in St. Paul and passed into God's arms on January 4, 2022 at the age of 94. She was a second generation immigrant from Eastern Europe. Anna attended Harding High School, then Hamline University earning degrees in music and history. In 1948 she taught elementary grade music and ninth grade social science, along with coaching high school vocal groups in Cumberland, Wisconsin. In 1949 she married Martin Mosio. In Minnesota they raised five children who survive her... Diana Lieffring (Herb), Teresa Nelson (Wayne), Julie Kearney (Steve), Monica Poff (Gary) and Christopher Mosio. After Martin's death, Anna married Ray Chamberlain in 1971. His military career moved them to Virginia where they lived until his death in 2001. Anna also worked as an executive assistant at Sperry Univac and hospital receptionist. Her true passion was music. Her classic soprano voice was shared with church choirs and choral groups throughout her lifetime. Her choir once sang for the Pope in Rome. She enjoyed playing bridge, fishing, and taking trips with Ray to Germany. Anna will be buried next to Ray at Arlington National Cemetery. She lived a full life, enjoyed 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. There will be no formal gathering. Memorials may be sent to Hamline University, Good Samaritan Society, or Health Partners Hospice.
