Barbara Joan Cunningham

Barbara Joan (Brandt) Cunningham, age 72, died unexpectedly in her family home in Roseville, MN on May 18, 2024.

Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Joan Brandt of St. Paul, MN.

Survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward Anthony Cunningham; sons, Mark Anthony Cunningham and spouse Rachel Marie Carlson, and John Edward Cunningham. Also survived by her siblings, Martha Nelson (Brandt), Gregory Brandt and Jerome Brandt.

Barbara earned a BA in Art in 1973 from St. Catherine University. She enjoyed a 16-year career with Northern States Power (now Xcel Energy) but left their employ to dedicate her life to raising a family. She was a staunch advocate for adoption. Her family were the center of her universe, and we will deeply miss our guiding star.

Funeral service 11 AM Friday, May 31 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B. Visitation from 10-11 AM Friday. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
