Benjamin “Noah” Bridges, age 67, of New Richmond, WI, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, July 2, 2018.
Born in Pontiac, Michigan, Noah grew up in Lake Orion, Michigan, with nine brothers and sisters. He moved to Minnesota in 1971 where he attended the University of Minnesota and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Social Gerontology. In addition, he completed the carpentry program at St. Paul Technical College and was a journeyman carpenter. He founded and owned his own construction company for 35 years until his retirement. The scope of his work included building HUD housing, new construction, remodeling and extensive work on the Mississippi gulf coast after Hurricane Katrina.
Noah enjoyed hunting, fishing, long walks, gardening and cooking. He was a kind and caring individual that loved helping people. He used to say, he only wanted to be surrounded by the "goodness and greatness" of others.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Andy Bridges, and parents, Lois and Woodrow "Joe" Bridges.
Survived by children, Jessica (Steve) Mattson, Gabe (Jenny) Bridges and Beth (Dan) Parga; eight grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Private family services were held.
In lieu of flowers, Noah supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and we would like you to consider sending a gift on his and his grandson’s behalf, at https://tribute.tributecff.org/noahbridges.
