Elizabeth A. Couette

Preceded in death by her parents, Bernou and Emily (Mahoney) Couette; and brother, Jim Couette.   Survived by her partner of 28 years, Kevin Shanahan; sister, Grace (Boyd) McCurry, brother, John (Sue) Couette, sister, Mary (Jen Olstead) Couette and brother, Joe (Liz) Couette.  Also survived by nieces, Kim and Ashley; and nephew, Eric.  Betty was a card carrying member of Mensa.  She had a quick wit and her favorite thing to do was to laugh with family and friends.  She loved to travel and her best trip was to Ireland with her mother, her sister, Mary and her aunt, Mary.  Her ashes will be spread in the Gulf of Mexico, her second home, at a later date.   An Irish Wake, where there is one less living than an Irish Wedding, will be held at the B-Dale Club, 2100 N. Dale St., Roseville on Friday, December 22 from Noon - 4 PM.
