Betty "Joanne" Edwall

Age 93, of North Oaks; passed away Feb. 7, 2023.​Preceded in death by husband, H. “Gene” Edwall; parents, Olaf & Mabel Hesla; brother, Merton Hesla.​Survived by children, Vickie (Wally) Bomgren, Carol (Neil) Fletcher, and David (Carol) Edwall; grandchildren, Brian (Angie) Bomgren, David (Amanda) Bomgren, Timothy (Lindsey) Bomgren, Amy (Brian) Freeman , Matthew (Aly) Fletcher,Sara (Coty) Kraiter, Shaye (Ryan) Hughes, Christopher Edwall, Keeton Edwall,and Eric Edwall; and 21 great-grandchildren. Memorial service 11 AM Tuesday, February 14 at NORTH HEIGHTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2701 N. Rice Street, Roseville. Visitation at the church from 10 – 11 AM Tuesday. Private interment Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to North Heights Young at Heart.
