Byron Jerome Leason

Age 60, of Blaine, MN and Danbury WI, passed away peacefully Friday, December 30 2022.​

Byron is survived by wife, Jennifer Leason, and children, Dylan (Leah) Leason, Kyle Leason and Kaelin (Paul) Ireland; grandchildren, Sylvia Leason and Luke, Corban, Liset, Jotham, Micha, Elam, Zion, Eveli, Daniel Ireland; siblings, Kenneth Leason, Barbara Pahl, Charlene (Ken) Bridgeman, Curtis Leason and Deborah Leason.​

Byron was born on October 21, 1962, to Ken and Dureen Leason. Byron was the fifth of six children. The family lived on Coon Lake Beach, MN most of Byron’s childhood years where he participated in many crazy adventures with his siblings. He learned to fix things by taking them apart as a young boy to see how they worked. He found his calling for fixing things on a ’66 gold Mustang.​Byron bought his first house on Lexington Ave and later married Jennifer. The family lived on Lexington Ave for several years and transitioned to Danbury, WI while Byron built their home on Fremstadt Lake. The family moved back to the Circle Pines/Blaine MN area where Byron lived the remainder of his life.

​Byron was not a complicated man. He loved the sereneness of cabin life and spent a lot of time unwinding at his cabin in the woods overlooking the wetlands. He was very smart with his hands and loved to teach others how to use their hands to fix things. He believed in helping friends in need and sometimes even people he did not know. He was always looking for a good deal and enjoyed sharing his deals/treasures with others.​

Byron believed in Jesus and spent his latter years learning about God and the Holy Spirit which changed his outlook on life and helped him cope peacefully with his trials during the last months of his life.

​Byron’s Celebration of Life will be held at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 7050 Lake Dr, Lino Lakes, MN on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11am. Visitation from 10-11am Friday at the funeral home.
