Catharine Mary Black

Catharine “Cathy” Black, age 74, of Roseville, MN, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023.

Preceded in death by parents, Clair and Lucretia Rogers; sisters, Dorothy and Julie; brother, Tom, and best friend of over 40 years, Terri Adelmann.

Survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Ed; children, Jenny (Sherman) Klein, Andy (Jen) Black and Amy Black (Krista Skoglund); sister, Terry (John) Linder and fun-loving grandmother to Ben and Braden Klein; Mia and Mallory Black.

Cathy loved her family and the many memories she and Ed created while living in Roseville and during the time spent at their lake home in northern Minnesota. They welcomed many friends and family to the cabin over the years, creating lasting memories for all. Cathy (aka Kate, Mom, Auntie Cathy, and Grandma) will be greatly missed and remembered for her passion for music, family, fishing, and fun.

Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held from 2- 4 PM Saturday February 17 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd B.
