Charles R. Howe

Age 79, formerly of New Brighton and Blaine, MN, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 13, 2023.

Preceded in death by granddaughter, Tiffany Charpenter; parents, Charles H. and Minnie; and sisters, Marie Wilhelm & Clenora Crepeau.

Survived by children, Dodie (Rob) and Joe; grandchildren, Devon, Charles, Brianna; great grandchildren, Tucker & Korbin; ex-wife, Dee; and sister, Betty Madryga.

Charlie was a 27-year veteran of the Minneapolis Police Department. He received a Purple Heart in 1972 after being shot in the line of duty, and he retired as a Sergeant working in the arson investigation unit.

In retirement, Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and gun enthusiast. He loved travelling internationally and throughout the United States. Time spent with his family was what he enjoyed most and he will be forever cherished and deeply missed.

Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B. Visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Thursday.
