Charles Lewis Masterman

Age 67, of Roseville; passed away peacefully February 28, 2018.  Preceded in death by father, Russell; and brother, David. Survived by wife of 43 years, Diane (nee Freyberger); sons, Scott (Trinity) and Phillip (Del); mother, Dorothy; siblings, Sr. Deborah Lynn, Susan Wirtz, Andrew (Janice), and Robin (Jane); in-laws, Alex (Amy), Debbie (Jerry), Scott (Lisa), and Victoria (Adam); aunt, Virginia Hull; uncle, Otis Edward Bender; nieces, nephews, and friends. Chuck was born to Russell & Dorothy on June 27, 1950, in Selma, Alabama. He attended Maternity of Mary, Alexander Ramsey, and TVI Culinary School, and worked as a machinist at PEC for 29 years. Charles met Diane in June of 1968, and they were married August 31, 1974. He was very proud of his family, and instilled his strong work ethic in his sons.​Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, March 9 at MATERNITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1414 N Dale Street St. Paul. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale Street at County Road B, and from 9:30-10:30 AM Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society. Dorothy will forever treasure her beloved son. Scott & Phillip will always appreciate how their dad watched over them, looked out for them…and kept them in line.​Charles, after almost 50 years, yes, Diane will love you ‘til the end of time, and the stars fall from the sky.
