Age 69 of Roseville, died peacefully in her sleep on June 20, 2024.
Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Tiny” and Margaret "Maggy" Alsip.
Survived by loving husband of 45 years, Christian; sons, Dan (Laura), Bill (Holly), and Mike; grandchildren, Ada, Beau, and Harrison; sister, Barbara Szenasi; brother, Chris Alsip.
Char was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
She had a zest for life that was infectious. Her love for spending time at the cabin, creating garden art, hunting for treasures at Tossed and Found, participating in the Card Club, enjoying the McDonald's Breakfast Club gatherings, watching Wheel of Fortune, and being around horses - especially her favorite Firefly - brought light into the lives of those around her.
In the mid-70s, Char met Chris, and on September 8, 1979, they exchanged vows at St. James. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to various administrative assistant roles within the Roseville School District. While her children were young, she chose to stay at home and nurture them with love and care.
A Memorial Service for Char will be 10:30 AM Saturday, July 13 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2330 N. Dale St., Roseville. Visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday at the church.
