Cheryl L. Runchey (Tauber)

Age 68, of St. Paul.  Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother.  Passed away on December 12, 2017 with her family by her side after a 2 ½ year journey with Leukemia.   Preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna Tauber; brother, Steven Tauber.  She is survived by loving husband of 47 years, John; children, Roxanne (Paul) Maxam, Ben (Jennifer) and Allison; grandchildren, Matthew, Natalie, Solomon and Samuel; brother, John (Barb) Tauber; sister, Elizabeth (Doug) Toussaint; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Born and raised in Glenwood, MN, she moved to the Twin Cities in 1967 to attend nursing school and then worked as a nurse for 46 years, retiring from United Hospital. Cheryl so enjoyed being at the lake, gardening and attending family events. She looked forward to decorating at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church for every liturgical season for over 20 years. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of style, caring nature and dedication to her family, faith and friends.  Memorial Mass 11 AM Thursday, December 21 at MATERNITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Private interment at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE 2130 N. Dale St. @ Cty. Rd. B and from 10-11 AM Thursday at the church.
