Christopher Eric Marshall "Snazzy" Leete

Christopher Eric Marshall Leete was born April 25th, 1971 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Eric and Sharon Leete of Roseville. He died peacefully on December 8th, 2021 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis after a month-long struggle with COVID-19. Preceded in death by his Grandmother, Lillian I. Satterberg, Chris is survived by his girlfriend and life-partner Jennifer Bahl, son Christopher Baker, daughter Maranda Berendt, Fur Babies (Miller, Olivia, Teakee, Tungsten), Jim (Pops), Kathy, and Kevin Bahl, and many family, close friends, and acquaintances both home and abroad that are far too numerous to mention.​A modern-day entrepreneur, Chris developed his own style of business founded on honesty, transparency, and determination. Starting from nothing, he leveraged his years of experience in high-pressure sales to create a light-weight model of retail diversity and simplicity. Exploring unique avenues of international import/export, Chris developed a powerful cadre of suppliers both here and in greater Asia which facilitated his successful foray into the consumer jewelry industry. These skills, and the business model he pioneered, served as the foundation for the creation of his branded corporations “Xtreme World Entertainment”, “EN Style Jewelry“, and “Direct Deals with Christopher”, alongside his partner Jennifer.​An influential force on the local club scene for nearly 30 years, Chris provided consultation in the areas of physical security and event promotion, helping to set future direction for businesses in the entertainment industry. His marketing, advertising, and web presence skills also saw Chris engage and develop strategies and services for automotive industry specialists in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.​Powerfully self-driven, Chris always set his goals above his ability at the moment. To Chris, each achievement unlocked only opened his eyes to what he must strive to accomplish in the next phase of his life. Ever unaware of his own advancements, and never taking pride sans tongue-in-cheek, Chris continued striving to grasp his aspirations and dreams, to be better each day, until the very last.​A lifelong MOPAR fan, Chris traversed both the state and the western U.S. in his classic 1971 Dodge Dart, often regaling stories of the unique places, people, and events he encountered in his travels. A lyricist for over 30 years, Chris wrote timely and socially-progressive musical lyrics and, as a younger man, won multiple competitions for his sharply relevant spoken-word compilations. As a diligent BMX fan, competitor, and cycling hobbyist, Chris built his own custom performance bikes and used them to great effect in both early show competitions and, in the new millennium, performing in shows as a volunteer for the D.A.R.E. program.​As a man of faith, Chris idealized the holiest emotions of striving to be a spiritual warrior and firmly believed in applying biblical teachings to each area of his life. His strong devotion to the Lord, personal honor, and integrity was only surpassed by his empathy to those in need. As a successful local businessman he relished the honor of helping others, as it served as both a reminder of his own humble beginnings and the strength those struggles had brought him. Chris always saw these moments as a socially conscious opportunity to provide guidance and support to both the destitute and the innocent.​A rare and affable man, Chris’s magnetic personality was manifest in the many relationships he forged with people of all cultures and identities. To those that knew him, his profound social wisdom was both revealing and awakening, providing an insight and energy one could only hope to capture and apply in daily life. In that, Chris had truly achieved a mastery, for every soul he encountered shall forever remain touched by his absence.​Visitation and funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 29th, 2021 at 11:00 am at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 Dale St. N., Roseville, MN 55113.​Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery, 2600 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, Mn 55418 following the service, with all aspects being fulfilled in accordance with Chris’s wishes.
