Chyrel "Cherie" Anne Moffat

Age 69, she died peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 after a long journey with Alzheimer’s. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Garner and Bernice “Bunny” Moffat. 

Survived by her three children, Jessie Moffat (Matthew Finco) of Milwaukee, WI, Katie (Jason) van der Hagen of Raymond, MN, Garner (Alison) Moffat of Superior, WI, and four grandchildren, Cyrus, Atticus, June, and Mabel. Also survived by her siblings, Sandy (Bob) Malaski, Wendy Bigelow, and Jim (Harriet) Moffat. 

Faith and family were very important to Cherie. She loved being a mom and, through her own volunteer work, showed her kids how to give back in their communities. 

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am, Thursday, February 27 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul, MN. Visitation at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 am Thursday. 

Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
