Claudette Rae Way

Claudette "Moose" Way (née Waldref), age 77, was born September 24, 1945 in Minot, North Dakota, and died from complications of a stroke on August 23, 2023.

She is survived by her children, Daren (Melissa) Way and Elizabeth (Bill) Gustafson; grandson, Jacob Way.

Claudette was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota and moved to the Twin Cities area in the 1960s where she settled in Forest Lake to raise her children. She lived there until two years ago when she moved to an assisted living facility in Blaine.

She spent many years volunteering her time at the local Community Helping Hand, enjoying her gardens, and socializing with her many friends and neighbors.

A special thanks to White Pine Senior Living staff for showing so much compassion and making her feel like she was part of your family.

She was a special woman who brought so much joy and laughter to those who were lucky enough to know and love her. Her beautiful soul will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

As per Claudette's wishes there will be no services.
