Curt was a rebel from Columbia Heights who didn’t graduate high school, but achieved his GED and many great things in life with a big heart and never-ending love for his family, kids, and grandkids. His colorful sense of humor and wit made you love him all the more. While his own house was not always in order – he was generous with his time and talent to ensure your house was. Curt was also a kid at heart – proudly shown though his investment in children and community by his involvement as a little league baseball coach, Boy Scouts of America Leader, and a Blaine Firefighter/EMT for many years. In addition to many Las Vegas trips with family and friends. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with Anne and the kids at their lake home. The family is very thankful for the caring staff at Pillars of White Bear Lake Senior Living and the Comfort Care Unit at United Hospital St. Paul during his final days with us. He is sorely missed.
