Daniel Eugene Olson

Age 68, of Shoreview, passed away on December 23, 2020.  Preceded in death by parents, Harvey & Frances (Miller) Olson; brother-in-law, James Myhre; and niece, Michele Bakke.​Survived by wife, Linda (Tweten); children, Jered Olson (Lisa Graff) & Jackie Carlson; grandchildren, Alex, Jake & Nick Carlson and Matthew Graff; sister, Terry Myhre; brothers, Owen "Pete" (Marleen) Olson and Tim Olson. Dan was born & raised in Ulen, MN. He worked as a large-scale construction superintendent in Minneapolis / St. Paul.  He enjoyed steam engines, travel and woodworking and was a board member of the Nowthen Historical Society. ​Dan was a loving & devoted husband, father & grandfather. He was gentle, kind and his quick witted humor will be missed.​A Celebration of Dan's Life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Ulen Community Center, 27 1st Street SW, Ulen, MN 56585.
