David J. "Bubba” Gadow

David passed away suddenly on May 6, 2019.​He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Doris Gadow; and aunt, Marlys Gadow.​Dave is survived by his siblings, John (Mary) Gadow, Mary (Troy) Butler, and Ruth Worman; nieces and nephews, Heather (John) Schmit, James Gadow, Jeremy, Nicole and Tyler Westendorf, Kati (Joe) Lively, and Magdalena Worman; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts and uncles Don Gadow, Norman (Jeanette) and John (Bonnie) Priebe, and Janet (Lawrence) Mirtschin; also his cousins and friends, including his friends in the online Everquest community.​A graduate of Concordia University – St. Paul, Dave lived in Kansas for a time before returning to the Twin Cities and working for Fairview Health Services as a computer consultant.​Dave was a longtime player of online game Everquest, as a member of the Legion of the White Rose guild, both in legacy EQ (where he was known as Denfold Fishguts) as well as a founding member in EQ2 (Timmit Tomfoolery).​A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 11 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N Dale Street at County Road B. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10-11 AM.​In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Thank you to the staff at the United Hospital Emergency Department for their care of David.
