David J. Stueber

Age 76, of St. Paul, Minnesota passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at his home.

David was born on April 19, 1946, in Clyman, WI, son of Ewald and Ruth (nee Christian) Stueber. He was a graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School in WI, a 1968 graduate of Concordia College in Nebraska and received his master's degree in 1972 from Louisiana State University.

David taught high school in Detroit, MI and Rockford, IL. In 1983 he received a call to teach mathematics at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. He taught there until 2010 and spent some time as an institutional researcher until his retirement that same year. He was very active at his church and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. 

David is survived by his brother, Kenneth (Kathleen) Stueber of Watertown, WI.; sisters-in-law, Marlys Stueber, Bonnie Stueber; 11 nieces and nephews; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Ralph; and nephew, Kevin.

​A Memorial service for Minnesota family and friends will be held 10 AM Wednesday, November 30 at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 670 W. Wheelock Parkway, St. Paul.   A celebration of life will be held for Wisconsin family and friends at a later date.  ​

Memorials, if desired, may be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church, Concordia University, or a charity of the donor’s choosing.
