Dawn Marie Wolowicz

Dawn Marie Wolowicz passed away on Sept 13, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was just 8 days short of her 53rd birthday.  Dawn was born on September 21, 1967 in Forest Lake, MN to Gene and Marie (Altobell) Peterson. Dawn gave birth to her son Dustin Gene on April 28, 1992 and married Nathan Burgau on November 3, 2013. Dustin and his wife Megan gave birth to Dawn's grandson, Tristan on Sept 12, 2017. Dustin was Dawn's pride and joy and her love for him was unbreakable.  Dawn had a passion for card games and being around her friends and family. A lot of weekends she could be found around a poker or blackjack table with a Crown Diet and surrounded by friends laughing and flashing her brilliant smile with a sparkle in her amazing blue eyes. In her later years, her days were highlighted by visits from Tristan and him sitting on her lap or crawling into bed to lay with "Gramma Dawn".  Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Eugene; and her brother, Mark. Dawn is survived by her mother, Marie; husband, Nathan; her son, Dustin (Megan); grandson, Tristan; brothers, Scott (Barb), Todd (Noy), and Kirk; along with several nieces.​Memorial service 1:00 PM Friday, September 18 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr. (Cty Hwy 23).
