Dennis J. Wurm

Dennis J. Wurm “Denny”, age 74, of Circle Pines, passed away April 1, 2020 at Gracewood Senior Living.​He was born on April 18, 1945 to James and Vera Wurm.​Dennis was married for 50 years to his loving wife, Sue.  He was a retired machinist of 40 years.​Denny loved to golf with Sue, his boys, and many friends.  In fact, Denny and Sue golfed almost every single public course in Minnesota and took annual summer excursions to hit multiple courses at once.  He enjoyed getting together with family and friends to hunt, bowl, play softball, play cards, do lottery scratch offs, and to fish on Sugar Lake.  Denny and Sue also introduced their boys to ice fishing, and as a family they spent many a chilly night in their fish house on Lake Mille Lacs. He loved to follow Minnesota professional sports teams, especially the Twins and the Vikings.​Denny had an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up a room.  Plain and simple, Denny just made life more fun.   His memory will be held forever in the hearts of those he loved.​He’s survived by his wife, Sue; sons, Randy (Crissy)and Doug (Hannah); brother, Pat (Deanne); sisters-in-law, Linda and Denise; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Jim and Vera; and brothers, Gary and Craig.​Funeral services will be postponed until further notice.
