Diane L. Carlson

Diane L. Carlson, age 69 of Little Canada, passed away on October 12, 2024.

Diane Lorraine Carlson, was born in St. Paul, MN to parents, Harold and Lorraine Berger. She grew up in Little Canada, MN and spent most of her life living in the childhood home she grew up in. While in high school she worked as a Nursing Assistant at Lakeridge Care Center where she met the love of her life, Tom Carlson. They eventually married and raised 4 children of their own. Tom and Diane were married 36 years before he passed away and they had a marriage that many adored.

Diane was a soft, loving, and caring mother who was always selfless. She had an unconditional love for her husband, kids, family, and friends and had a knack for comforting others. She was welcoming to anyone that came to visit and visitors were greeted with open and loving arms. She had a heart of gold and knew how to make people feel special and loved. She had a special passion for animals, especially for her beloved dogs and cats that she had over the years. Diane will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom; parents, Harold and Lorraine Berger; and grandson, Joseph Anthony Casa De Calvo.

Survived by children, Janet (Ricci) Casa De Calvo, Sam (Sandra), Anne (James) Gillson, and Laura; grandchildren, Gabriella, Cole, Vincent, Brayden, Ava, Thomas, Veronica, and Jaxzyn; and siblings, Jack (Chris) Berger, Marilyn (Frank) Williams, and Tom (Chris) Berger.

A visitation for Diane will be held from 1-3 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
