Dolores Ruth "Dee" Wright (Cooper)

Age 86; passed away from endometriosis cancer, surrounded by her family on

November 26, 2021.

She was born on July 25, 1935 in Henry County, Iowa. She was the eldest daughter of eleven to Wesley and Madeline Beavers Cooper. She was married fifty years to Richard E. “Dick” Wright of Burlington, IA, until his death in 2007.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Robin W. (Tom) Nardini and their children, Dominic and Danielle of St. Paul; son, Michael F. (ex-wife Pamela) Wright and their daughter Caitlin A. Wright of Maryland; foster son, Christopher L. (Deb) Teno and family in IL; brothers, Larry (Karla) Cooper of Slidell, LA, and Terry Cooper & Randy (Gina) Cooper, both of Burlington, IA; sisters, Marilyn Beik and Melodee Kennedy, both of Burlington, IA; and many friends, nieces, nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and five siblings: Gary Cooper (1934-1999), Melissa Hoambrecker (1950-2009), Marla Starman (1940-2010), Cheryl Clouse (1946-2010), and Judith “Judy” Gabriel (1938-2019).

Funeral service 11 AM Monday, December 6 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ Co. Rd B. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation from 10 – 11 AM Monday.
