Edward Haider, age 93, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024.
Preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 69 years, Joyce.
He is survived by children, Dan (Margee), Nancy (Gary) Burger, Paul (Linda); grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob (Kinsey), Jared, Andrew (Tara), Danielle, Molly, Angela, Jeffrey (Megan), Nina (Joshua) Bowen; great grandchildren, Augustine, Vera, Bernadette, Jarren, Julien, Raelynn, Bentley, Westley, Finley.
Faith and family were the cornerstones of Ed’s life. He had a true love for life’s simple pleasures and found joy in the little things. Ed was a skilled handyman, maker of soups, and tender of his beautiful flower gardens. Whenever a need arose, Ed was there to help.
The love and dedication Ed had for his family were evident in everything he did. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, whether it was swimming in the pool, celebrating the holidays, or being behind the camera at all his grandchildren’s events. Ed had the ability to quietly care for others, especially Joyce and his mother-in-law Regina, a testament to his deep compassion.
Though Ed will be deeply missed, he leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, generosity, and care. Ed’s spirit will forever shine brightly within us.
