Eileen died peacefully surrounded and cared for by family.
Preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack"; son, Tom; mother, Eileen "Ma" Schumacher; brothers, Don and John "Jake"; great-granddaughter, Alexis Jagusch.
Survived by children, Pat (Mark) Anderson, Debbie (Tom) Linder, Jim, Steve, Jeff (Christine); daughter-in-law, Karen Kohlman; sister-in-law, Joan Schumacher; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was a parishioner at St. Columba, and graduated from Wilson in 1948. Growing up, Eileen had many friends, adventures, and “perfect days.” She and Jack met in 1946 and were married for 62 years. She was a classroom aide for 32 years at Maxfield Public school, retiring in 2006. Eileen loved soap operas and was a talented seamstress. Her personalized cakes were a treat at every family event. Eileen, rarely the focus of attention, was the family’s center and will be forever remembered.
Visitation from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Thursday, March 7 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale Street at County Road B. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
