Born November 25, 1934; crossed over to eternal life, at home surrounded by her loving family, on December 8, 2023.
Preceded in death by husband, Bob; parents, Paul & Olive (Donahue) Krengel; brothers, Ronald & Kenneth Krengel; and brothers-in-law, George & Joe Forliti.
Survived by children, Sandy Farah Forliti, Tony (Deb), Steve (Kim), Jane, Pat (Mary); grandchildren, Mario (Kelly), Michael (Christina) & Martino Farah, Marco (Kathryn), Malory, Nick (Megan), Andrew (Nikki), Andrea (Matt) Hankey, Katelynn (Jeff) Pauluk, Hannah, Emma; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Krengel; brothers-in-law, Fr. John & Dick (Kathy) Forliti; sisters-in-law, Joan & Deanna Forliti; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Elaine was grounded in a simple but profound faith, and blessed with an exceptional ability to be welcoming to all. She was an amazing hostess and through her food, she provided tremendous love with an open heart.
Visitation 4:00 - 7:00 PM Friday, December 15 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B.
Visitation 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday, December 16 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., Saint Paul followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
A special thanks to the staff at St. John's Hospital and Optage Hospice for their exceptional care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
