Elenora I. "Ellie" Schmeckpeper (Gorr)

Beloved Mom & Grandma, Fallen Asleep in Jesus’ Arms.  Age 95, formerly of West St. Paul & Arlington, MN, passed away on December 10, 2020.  Preceded in death by husband, Norman; children, Bonnie Lewis & Stanley; parents, Fred & Mollie Gorr; and siblings, Edward Gorr, Frieda Gorr & Donald Gorr. Survived by children, Sandra (Robert) Drufke, Dennis (Nora Tierney), Dawn (Edward) Dolphin; son-in-law, John Lewis; daughter-in-law, Joan; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and sisters, Helen Kraemer & Ruby (Richard) Moskop. Ellie was talented in many areas of creative crafts & painting, loved MN sports and had a strong faith in the Lord.  There will be a private family service at 11:00 AM Friday, December 18.  A live stream of the service can be found on YouTube at New Life Shoreview.  Memorials preferred to New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, 180 Co.
