Eric Daniel Larson

On the evening of March 31, Eric Larson (age 48) passed away unexpectedly at home, most likely due to a problem with his heart. The likely cause is ironic because he lived life with such a huge heart. Eric was known for his love of his family, being a good friend, and enjoying life. 

Eric was an amazing husband and father to his girls. There was never anything he wouldn't do for those that he loved. Eric and Rena were married for 9 wonderful years and share a lifetime of incredible memories from their time together. Eric was incredibly proud of the young women he raised and each of his daughters developed strength, courage and a thirst for living life to the fullest from him.  

He was a graduate of Mounds View High School Class of 1990 and St. Cloud State University. For most of his career Eric worked for Intercomp Company as an Accounts Manager. He took pride in selling industrial scales to the United States military. He traveled frequently to US military bases all around the world and enjoyed when Rena could join him so they could share the experience. 

He is survived by wife, Rena; daughters, Abby, Grace, and Sophie; parents, Dan and Sally Larson; sister, Stephanie Schmidt; niece, Megan Schmidt; nephew, Colin Schmidt; and many cousins. 

Special thank you to the many first responders and staff of Mueller-Bies who assisted Eric and the family despite the global pandemic.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Please come prepared to share many fun stories!
