Preceded in death by son, Colin Pfeffer; and grandparents, Stephen & Marie Moulton and Robert & Dorothy Astgen.Survived by wife, Ann; children, Emily Pfeffer, Molly Moulton, Luke Moulton; parents, Lyle & Mary Moulton; siblings, Ryan (Alice) Moulton, Nicole (Todd) Kendall, Leah (Chad) Malvin; many loving relatives; and his brothers from 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines.Garrett was born February 10, 1981 in Torrance, California. As a child he loved sports, camping, drawing, anything outdoors, mischief, and the military. After 9/11 his inner calling came to the forefront and in November of 2002, he enlisted in the Marine Corps to defend his country. Although he suffered debilitating injuries during boot camp, he endured, excelled and graduated as the Company Honorman of his platoon. He went on to serve two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom earning numerous honors, including citations, service medals, ribbons and the rank of Sergeant. He received an honorable discharge in 2007. After his discharge, he married the love of his life in February 2012, embraced Colin & Emily as his own and gave life to two amazing children, Molly and Luke. He had an enormous heart, if you loved Garrett, he loved you twice as much. He is now and will forever be missed and loved by many.Memorial visitation from 3-5 PM Thursday, May 23 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Lino Lakes) followed by a sharing of memories at 5:00 PM.
