Gary Lee Blahosky

February 6, 1945 — October 17, 2020

Son of Inga Mork and Steve Blahosky.  Born February 06, 1945 in Madison, MN passed away from COVID-19 on October 17, 2020.   Gary was an Army veteran and member of the American Legion.  He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato and worked at Production Credit Association, State Bank of Bellingham, and MN Department of Agriculture in financing farming operations.  Preceded in death by parents, Steve and Inga; sisters, Betty Jean and Carol.   Survived by wife, Margaret “Peggy”; sons Chad (Becky), Patrick (Amy); daughter, Bridget (Robert) Richter.  Gary’s joy was being with his grandchildren, Benjamin, Keira, Damian, Finnian, and Cecelia.   Also survived by sisters, Donna Lane and Debra Blahosky and brothers, Paul and Donald “Skip”.  The family wants to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts and support during this difficult time.  Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his love of farming, devotion to his family, and his one-liners.  For the safety of family and friends due to COVID-19 we deeply regret we will postpone doing a Celebration of Life at this time, but we will be holding one at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Second Harvest Heartland at Donor Relations, Second Harvest Heartland, 7101 Winnetka Avenue N. Brooklyn Park, MN 55428 or www.2harvest.org.
