Gerald Lyman Kline

Celebration of the Life of Gerald “Jerry” Lyman Kline.

​Jerry Kline, age 77, longtime resident of Circle Pines, MN passed away at home in Cambridge, MN, on December 18, 2022.

​Jerry fought a courageous battle against Alzheimer’s.

​Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosemary Kline; daughters, Michelle Kline (Brian Perry) and Christa Kline, and son Jerry Kline Jr. (April Kline); two grandchildren, Abby and Jaelyn Kline; extended family and many friends.​

Born February 19, 1945 to Stanley and Maxine Kline of Minneapolis, MN, he graduated from North High School, Minneapolis, in 1963 and attended the University of Minnesota. He was employed by Stone Container for 30-plus years.

In 1965, he married the love of his life, Rosemary Klick.​

His many passions included all things sports, coaching, lake life along with birds and dogs (Raider & Ollie), R&B music, his family, friends, and especially his two grandchildren, Abster & JJ.​

Anyone who encountered Jerry felt his warmth, charm, humor, and gift of gab, and he always had a way to make you feel special. He was referred to as a giant teddy bear.

Jerry was very proud of his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he cherished his relationship with his extended family.​

Jerry (Coach Kline) touched the lives of so many people. He will be truly missed and will never be forgotten.​

A visitation is planned one hour prior to the 10:00 AM church service, with a reception immediately following on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes, MN 55014.​

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
