Germaine V. Nash

Age 87, passed away on Wednesday July 21, 2021 holding hands with her daughter Kathie.  Gerri was on Hospice for a few weeks before her passing due to an earlier hospitalization the end of June.  Gerri fought hard to beat what she was facing and all her family members were able to be there with her through out the last two weeks.  She was an amazing Mother and truly a blessing! Gerri was very involved with her family and loved each of us. She grew up in Little Canada with her dad and mom and five little brothers.  She was married to Bob in 1953 and lived in St Paul, MN and eventually moved back to Little Canada with her husband and two children.  Gerri is preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son, Joe; parents, Joseph and Veronica Saiko; and brothers, Greg and Ron.   Survived by daughter, Kathie (Tim) Ross, daughter in-law, Carol (Scott) Yzerman; grandchildren, Bob (Andrea) Nash, Dan McKee (Kristy), Amy (Dustin) Hudalla and Maggie Kehoe-Nash (Nick); seven great grandchildren, Dawson, Leo, Zoey, Devin, Remi, Landon and Eli; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Whitey (Joan), Larry (Kathy), Alan (Rich), Joan, and Nancy Saiko.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 27 at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 380 E. Little Canada Rd., Little Canada.  Interment St. John’s Cemetery.  Visitation 9 – 11 AM Tuesday at the church.
