Gladys E. Hanson

Gladys Hanson was born on July 18, 1923 to Leonard and Anna Krumwiede. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith School in Jackson County, MN.  Married to Harlan Hanson on December 1, 1943 and had one son, Roger. ​

Gladys worked for 20 years for Hiawatha Metal Craft. She liked to garden many flowers, inside and out. She did a lot of sewing, hand work crochet, knitting, quilts, and ceramics. She also liked to bake and make homemade jams from her garden. Harlan and Gladys liked to visit nursing homes and help the patients there.

​Gladys leaves her one son, Roger, and many nieces and nephews.

​She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan.​

Funeral service 2:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2023 at OUR SAVIOR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 9185 Lexington Ave., Circle Pines. Visitation at the church from 1-2 PM Friday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
