Gordon "Gordy" Gilbertson

Age 78, of Spring Lake Park passed away December 2, 2017.   He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Pat) for 54 years.  Loving father of Lisa (Barry) Wells and Laura (Chadd) Clarey.  He was the proud Grandpa to Chelsea and Matthew Wells and Addison and Taylor Clarey.  He was also survived by his sisters Dee Gjenvick and Caroll (Gary) Miller, nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.   Gordy worked 42 years in the banking business before retiring in 2006.  Longtime member of the Zuhrah Shrine and a proud Navy veteran.  Celebration of Life will be 1 PM Saturday, December 9 at North Heights Lutheran Church, 2701 Rice St., Roseville, MN.  Visitation at the church from 12 – 1 PM Saturday.  Gordy's family extends deep gratitude to Regions Hospital and to J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, memorials to J.A. Wedum Compassion Fund or Honoring Veterans Fund would be deeply appreciated.
