Harvey Pothen

Age 79, of Lino Lakes, passed away peacefully in Arizona surrounded by his family on January 14, 2022.  He was a devoted husband, brother, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. His passion for family and friends guided every action, he devoted his life to service of others. We are truly blessed to have called him dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. We will miss him dearly but know that he will continue to watch over us and spend eternity with the love of his life Elaine.  Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; father, Henry; and mother, Mary.  Survived by brothers, Tom (Margaret Mary) and Bill (Lori); sons, Dan (Julie), David (Deb), and Jeff (Megan); daughter, Jenny (Dave) Klehr; grandpa to Nicole (Michael) Bruton, Jordan, Zach (Emma), Dylan, Derek, and Amanda; and great-grandpa to Brooks and Charlotte Bruton. ​A celebration of life will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday, February 10 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-LINO LAKES, 7050 Lake Drive (County Hwy 23). A Mass of Christian Burial will be at THE CHURCH OF ST. ODILIA, 3495 Victoria St. N., Shoreview, at 12 Noon on Friday, February 11, with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul.  ​St. Odilia Church will be livestreaming the service on their YouTube channel for those not able to attend in person. ​In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the carpenter’s apprenticeship program at Carpenters & Joiners, 740 Olive St, St. Paul, MN 55130.
