Helen Mae Claypool went home to Jesus on June 4th, 2020, at age 83.Helen was born to George Anderson and Stella Mae Phernetton-Anderson July 16, 1936, in Webster, Wisconsin. As a young child, Helen and her family traveled to Washington State for her father to work in the welding shipyards during World War II. They returned to Minnesota to purchase and work a 40 acre farm. As a young woman, and the eldest child, she took care of her younger siblings and helped out on the farm. She graduated from St. Francis High School, and then she attended Bethel Bible College, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Helen was married to Lawrence Marvin Claypool for 25 years. She retired from working at the Veteran’s Administration to spend time with her family. Helen was very involved in the Women’s Ministry group in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting and was very active in Bible study. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Helen joins her parents, George and Stella, her brother Arvin, and her grandson, Nick, in heaven. She is survived by her brothers, George, Roland, Gorman, Grant and Gary, her sister, Irene, her children, Timothy, Lawrence, Jeffrey, Michelle, Brian, and her grandchildren, James, Katherine, Minuet, Matthew, Myleigh, Holly, Kalli, Kyle, Nora and Wyatt.
