Passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025 at Lyngblomsten, Lino Lakes, MN
Born in Minneapolis June 11, 1928 and raised in St. Paul, MN with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Henry also served our country in the Marine Corp from 1946 - 1948. Henry married the woman he picked up hitchhiking July 7, 1951. They adopted 2 beautiful children; Lory and John.
Henry worked in the Traffic Dept at the Ford Motor plant in Highland Park from 1961 until he retired in Dec 1987. His wife Lois, worked as an Accountant in St. Paul, MN
Preceded in death by wife of 60 years, Lois; parents, Russell and Rose (Nielsen); siblings, Robin (Dean), Daniel, Steven (Fran), James (Claudia); brothers-in-law, Arthur (Marcella) Wiegele, Lawrence (Geri) Wiegele; daughter-in-law, Dorothea. Survived by his children, Lory Whittet and John; granddaughters, Kari Oostveen, Amy (Nick) Rhodes; great grandchildren, Hayden, Adam and Addie; brother-in-law, Edward (Marie) Wiegele; also, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Henry loved walking Central Park in Roseville daily. He had many friends there, always stopping to chat. We also spent many fun years with family up on Knife Lake, MN.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 5 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Road B. Visitation from 10-11 AM. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
