Age 81, of White Bear Lake

Preceded in death by eight siblings. Survived by wife of 60 years, Sharon (nee Lavell); children, Don (Gail), David (Colleen), Cathy (Dan), and Dan (Gina); grandchildren, Hannah (Rico), Lilia, Brett (Cassie), Kelsey, Connor, Amber, Blake, William, and Kennedy; one expected great-grandchild; and siblings, Vernon (Irma), Mary Jane (Jerry), and Dorothy. 

Igy was born and raised in Cold Spring, MN and was a veteran of the 101st Airborne. He was proud to be a lifetime member of Clifton Highlands Golf Club. Igy was one of a kind; he made friends wherever he went. 

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 12 at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 380 E Little Canada Road, Little Canada. Interment at St. John’s Church Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 PM Monday at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N Dale Street at County Road B, and 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the U of M Masonic Cancer Center, the Fraser Center, and The Pillars Hospice Home.
