Jack Ervin Gysbers, (Roseville, MN) passed away on January 8, 2021 at Regions Hospital of a heart attack. Jack was born April 28, 1933 to Harold and Johanna Gysbers in Hinckley, MN, and shared 87 wonderful years with us. Jack graduated in 1952 from Hinckley High School. He served in Korea after being drafted in 1953, receiving an honorable discharge as a PFC in 1955. In 1959 Jack graduated from St. Paul T.V.I., beginning his career as a carpenter. In 1975 he returned to school at Hennepin Technical Center to complete a 35 hour Construction Estimation and Building course. After a 21 year career with Alran Construction, Jack finally retired as a project manager and commercial estimator. He married Nancy in 1956 and had four children, Jerry (Colleen), Adrian, Sharon, & Ron (Karla). They had 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was a loyal and devoted husband, father, and grandparent who had a bit of mischief in him, and who was always looking for the fun and laughter in life. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Joanna Gysbers, and siblings Leonard Gysbers, Wanda Engels, and Eleanor Malone. His is survived by his wife of 64 years Nancy, their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his brother, Blaine, and sister, Joan. Memorial service in celebration of his life to be announced at a later date.
