Jaime Joseph Otto

April 13, 1976 — February 13, 2022

Jaime passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the age of 45 years.  Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walt and Donell; his Uncle Ron; his paternal grandmother, Karen; uncle, Joe Jr. Survived by his mother, Kathy; father, Kevin; grandfather, Joseph Sr.; brother, Lee; sister-in-law, Robin; and two young nephews. He also leaves behind two uncles, three aunties and a close-knit group of cousins on both sides of the family.Jaime’s pet Doberman and “Doggie Daughter” Rey was his constant companion. From a young age Jaime was his own man. He was a passionate glass artist and found joy in many varied activities and sports. He rode skateboards on halfpipe ramps all through his youth, mastered BMX bike trick riding, was an original snowboard shredder from the early eighties and continued riding as an adult, and learned to waterski at two years of age, becoming an outstanding slalom skier. He was always up for a round of golf, played electric guitar, cooked great BBQ and lived for any activity that involved riding motorcycles. He rode many miles in Europe and all over the USA. He especially loved to hit the road on his show quality Harley Davidson, cruising with his large extended family of like-minded pals. Anybody who met him was charmed and disarmed by his one-of-a kind genuine smile. Jaime leaves a legacy of smiles, love, hugs and warmth that will never be replaced.A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, February 26 at the Warehouse Winery, 6415 Cambridge Street, Saint Louis Park MN 55426. Friends and family please stop in any time after 2:00 PM.
