Jane Frances Behan (Latuff)

Age 95, of Maplewood, passed away early Thursday, September 2, 2021. Jane was born in St. Paul to Peter and Rose Latuff on February 13, 1926 after they immigrated from Lebanon and settled in Minnesota. Jane was a bright light and loved by everyone who knew her. With a passion for sewing, watching the Twins, and shopping at thrift stores, Jane was active her entire life. She loved to travel when she could, and especially loved a trip to New York to see her parents' names on the wall at Ellis Island. She was happiest when surrounded by family, especially during summer vacations at a resort or during the many holidays spent together.  Jane is survived by her children, Bob (Mary) Behan, Joe (Cindy) Behan, Jean (Jeff) Holewa and Jim (Sherri) Behan. Also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Gerald Behan; parents, Peter and Rose Latuff; brothers, John, Bill, Mike, Joe; and sisters, Bessie, Marie, Alice and Helen.  A celebration of Jane's life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 8 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd. B.​Private interment: Ft. Snelling National Cemetery
