Janie Saumer

Janie passed on April 9, 2021 after a 4-year battle with cancer. Janie was born in Lubbock, TX in 1945 to Vincent and Hazel Follmer, but lived her life in Roseville, MN.   She was married to, and preceded in death by, Raymond Saumer. “Mrs.” Janie was a pre-school teacher in Roseville for most of her life. She touched the lives of hundreds of children, whom she always impressed with her video game skills.   She is survived by her brother, Ron; sister, Allyne; daughter, Mollie; son, Jason; and grandchildren, Joe, Sam, and Hope.  Memorial service 11 AM Friday, May 7 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale Street at County Road B. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 10 – 11 AM Friday.
