Jeanne A. Nagel

Jeanne Nagel, age 75, traveled to her Heavenly home on Saturday, February 8th, 2025. She was a life-long resident of St. Paul, Minnesota. Jeanne currently resided in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. 

She was born on July 10th, 1949 to Carl Otto and Martha Nagle in Long Island, New York. Jeanne lived with her mom and grandmother Bertha Leonhardi in St. Paul, Minnesota for the majority of her life. She was a member of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed many years of attending church services and activities involving her church home. Jeanne attended Lutheran schools including her college years where she received her accreditation as a teacher. She taught at elementary schools in South Saint Paul most of her teaching career. Jeanne loved to take daily walks, cross-country ski, and play golf; she also enjoyed many trips with her cousin Sandy. As time passed she also enjoyed outings with her many friends. She loved all of her many friends as well as her many relatives. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martha Nagel and Carl Otto Nagel; grandmother, Bertha Leonhardi; grandfather, Alexander Leonhardi; also several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Jeanne is survived by her cousins, Sandy of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and Jimmy (Barb) Hickman of Pillager, Minnesota; goddaughter, Erika and her son Tyler (daughter and grandson of Sandy); Jimmy and Barb's son, Michael (Barbara) and their two children, Penelope and Henry; several nieces, Holly, Tammy, Heather, and Jeanette; her many friends, Ginger, Leilani, Kay, Gerri, Patty, Joan; and Randy, a special person in her life. 

Jenny was a warm, loving, caring person who made all of our lives better and someone that touched all of our hearts in a special way. She lives on forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, we love you.

Private interment was held.
