Joan M. DeMars

Age 86, of St. Paul, MN. Went peacefully into God's hands 11/24/2020. Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Anna (Schmidt) DeMars; brothers, William and Frank; sister, Caroline (Breidel); and baby James. Survived by sister, Jeanette (Wyatt) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.   Joan was sharp as a tack till the end and enjoyed doing the New York and Chicago Times crosswords even though she found them too easy.  She self-taught herself to cook, sew, knit and crochet.  We will miss her immensely. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 2 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. There will be no public viewing.​In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
