Age 78, passed on to Heaven on August 21, 2024.
John graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1964 and continued his education at Northwestern Electronic Institute majoring in electronics. He met and married his wife, Barbara, on November 23, 1973. His career over the years included building commercial ovens at Litton Microwave, wiring packaging machines at Tetra Pack, making implantable heart defibrillators at Angion, and wiring test heads at the G.E. Engineering Department.
His favorite hobby was using his ham radio to talk to people around the world. He was an avid biker as well as a hiker who walked at least 3 miles or more a day. He also enjoyed car shows. In his younger years, his favorite car was his Mercury Comet. It pleased him to keep his cars in mint condition.
A highlight of their summers for 26 years was spending time at their camper in northern Minnesota near Bemidji. John especially loved their pet poodle, Mandy.
Being members of the Bridgewood Community Church, Barb and John considered this to be a most important and blessed part of their lives, which included growing in their Christian Faith with very good friends in their Church Home Group. John enjoyed volunteering to assist with the sound system.
Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and LaVere Reynolds.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara; brothers, Jim, Scott (Lynn), Jay (Diane); brother-in-law, Peter Mitby; sister-in-law, Durayne Mitby; aunt, Janice Olson; nephew, Danny; niece, Lisa; and many loving relatives and friends.
