Age 75, of Centerville; passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 8, 2020. Preceded in death by nephew, Jason Lundblad; and best friend, Denny Yell. Survived by wife of 51 years, Stacy (née Storbeck); children, Brittney (Shawn) Rehm & Brady (Kaylee); grandchildren, Taryn, Westin, Leo, Finn, & Roman; siblings, Steve (Julie) Lundblad & Kathy Volmer, and nephews, Joshua & Justin Lundblad; sisters-in-law, Audrey Storbeck, Karen (Rick) Gjervold & Joyce David Dobmeier, and niece & nephews Colin, godson Aric, Nicole, & Aaron; goddaughter, Meghan Wendlad, daughter of Denny Yell; and many dear friends. John was born in Bertha, Minnesota and grew up in Parkers Prairie. He graduated from Moorhead State with a degree in elementary education; he also starred in football while there. John served as a commissioned officer in the US Army in Vietnam, specializing in military intelligence. He worked as an elementary school teacher in the Roseville school district for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. He loved skiing and racquetball, and was an avid biker and pheasant hunter. John’s children were the apple of his eye, and he adored his grandchildren.  Due to current circumstances, services will be private.   ​"God is our rock!  He will always be there for us!  We wait for his glorious return to join him in his promised kingdom.  He put everything in place.  The Bible is Gods grand love story to a sinful, wayward broken people!  It was his plan for us and he is in control.​"Jesus teaches us how to live, and love.  He declares “I am coming soon!”  God desires a living relationship within him.  Love people but keep your hope in God.  Keep your faith alive and ❤️ engaged.  Live for the one who gave it all .....live for Jesus like he’s coming back tomorrow!"​
