John G. Mooney

Age 74, of Lino Lakes.​Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Agnes Mooney; brother Robert; and granddaughter Sidney.   Survived by wife of 50 years, Nancy; beloved daughters, Colleen (Michael) Jax, Krista (Paul) Selbitschka and Jennifer (David) Super; grandchildren, Andrew and Megan Jax, Kiera and Paige Selbitschka, and Hadley Super; and his brother, James (Suzanne) Mooney.   Faithfully served as a Catholic school principal for over 35 years.   He will be greatly missed by many.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 6 at ST. JOSEPH OF THE LAKES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes. Visitation at the church from 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Mendota.
