Joseph S. Brown

Joseph “Joe” Stanley Brown was born on August 29, 1966 and passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 53. Joe was preceded in death by his father Robert “Bob” Brown. Joe is survived by his mother, Geri Neubauer; his brother, Scott (Chris) Brown; nephews, Tyler & Dylan Brown; and niece, Ashley Chance.  He is also survived by his stepmother Doris “Dodi" Brown, and stepbrothers Gene Aylward and Jon Blank.  Joe grew up in the St. Paul area. He had a witty sense of humor, and enjoyed bowling and listening to music.  He graduated in 1984 from Central High School and worked his entire career at Brookdale Plastics.  Joe was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the MN Wild & the MN Twins.  The other special place in Joe’s heart was his cats, including his cat “Lena” who misses him dearly!!  A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Sunday, October 13th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Arcade-Phalen American Legion Post 577, 1129 Arcade Street, St. Paul, 55106.  Brunch will be served, and we encourage you to wear your favorite MN sports team shirt or your favorite band t-shirt, as that is exactly what Joe wore every day!  Please also feel free to share stories of your memories of Joe during the Celebration of Life. Memorials preferred.
