Judith A. Alderson

Judith “Judy” (Kirk) Alderson, age 83, born and raised in Mahtomedi, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 27, 2024.

She lived an amazingly independent life, balancing her Catholic faith along with family, friends, her deep-seeded love of cooking & baking, all things Irish and a good glass of wine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Irene Kirk.

Survived by daughters, Kim (Steve) Bona, Cindy (Arnie) Woo, and Julie (Tom) Davis; brother, Mike (Shirley) Kirk; sisters, Ginny McKenzie, Pat Matykiewicz (Gary), and Debbie Horan; grandchildren, Kelsey (Casey) Hogan, Alex Bona, Michael Woo, Madison Woo, Brittany (Scott) Ostrom, and Sarah Davis; great-grandchildren, Harper and Hunter; dear nieces, nephews and friends. 

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday, November 8 at St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church, 700 Mahtomedi Ave., Mahtomedi. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Friday. Inurnment St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul.
